Lynmouth Harbour
Lynmouth is a quaint old fishing harbour on the edge of Exmoor with an array of charming shops and boutiques as well as tea shops, 'olde worlde' pubs and restaurants to cater to every taste and pocket.

Lynmouth even has its own hydraulic cliff railway climbing 500 ft to its sister town of Lynton.

A short drive through Lynton will take you to the wonderful Valley of the Rocks with spectacular views across the Bristol Channel.

The outstanding rugged beauty of Exmoor National Park is a very short drive away where even in the height of the season a secluded picnic spot will still be found. You may even find yourself sitting amongst Exmoor's curious wild ponies, or catch a glimpse of the red deer. Overhead you may also see one of the regions many birds of prey. You may prefer to leave the car behind and explore on foot the tree lined banks of the East Lyn River which is literally on your doorstep.
